PSG provide update on Safonov and injured players

Paris Saint-Germain’s press service has provided an updated report on the condition of Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov and other injured players in the squad. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

To recall, Safonov broke his hand in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final. In that match, he saved four penalties in a row.

According to the club, Safonov, who has a fractured left hand, is currently continuing training under a special program. Lee Kang-in is training individually due to muscle issues. Quenten Njjantu has suffered an injury to his right thigh and will be unavailable for the next few weeks. Martin James will also miss the next match due to illness and will be given a few days’ rest.

On January 4, PSG will host Paris in Round 17 of the French league. Kick-off is at 00:45 (Tashkent time).
