Korneev calls Lecce’s draw with Juventus a miracle

Former CSKA midfielder Igor Korneev shared his impressions of Juventus’ play under Luciano Spalletti. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

Spalletti took charge of the Turin club during the season after Igor Tudor’s resignation. In Serie A Round 18, Juventus drew 1–1 away to Lecce.

According to Korneev, Juventus have changed significantly since Spalletti arrived: the team moves the ball quickly, and the ball seems to run more than the players themselves. “Today Lecce worked a miracle and came away with a draw,” the expert was quoted as saying by Match TV.

The Turin side were close to victory, but Jonathan David failed to convert a penalty. With 33 points, Juventus sit fourth in the league table.
