Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso commented on the condition of the club’s forward Kylian Mbappé. Alonso said the team will follow the planned approach, but многое depends on the player’s physical condition.
“We always monitor the player’s recovery process closely. We will use every opportunity to help him return. It’s hard to say when he will be back on the pitch, but after each match his condition will be reassessed and decisions will be made,” Alonso said.
Alonso also stressed that they will take all measures to help Mbappé complete his recovery sooner. The coach added that special attention is being paid to the return of a player who is important for the team.
As previously reported, Mbappé is expected to be unavailable for at least three weeks. Meanwhile, on January 4 Real will face Betis in La Liga, and then the team will play Atlético in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final.
According to Alonso, the team must be cautious when making specific strategic decisions regarding their player and aim to manage the entire recovery process successfully.
