Simeone draws up a plan to stop Vinicius in the derby

Ahead of the Madrid derby, Atletico head coach Diego Simeone has devised a clear plan to neutralize one of Real Madrid’s attacking leaders, Vinicius Junior. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to Diario AS, in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final Simeone assigned Marcos Llorente to man-mark Vinicius. The 30-year-old Spaniard is expected to start in the lineup as a right-back.

Atletico vs Real will take place on Thursday, January 8. The kickoff is scheduled for 00:00 (Tashkent time). A day earlier, Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao will face off in the first semi-final, with the final set for January 11.

As a reminder, the Spanish Super Cup matches will be held in Saudi Arabia.
