Real Madrid could earn up to €9m in the Spanish Super Cup

Real Madrid’s participation in the Spanish Super Cup is expected to bring the club significant revenue. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to Diario AS, the “Royal Club” will receive around €6.15m in guaranteed money just for traveling to Saudi Arabia, where the tournament matches will be held. If Real reach the final, an additional €1m bonus will be added. A win in the decisive match would boost Madrid’s earnings by a further €2m. In total, the revenue could exceed €9m — for just two games.

On January 8, Xabi Alonso’s team will face Atletico in the semi-final. The derby winner will meet Barcelona or Athletic (Bilbao) in the final for the trophy.
