In February, the 25th Winter Olympic Games will be held in Italy, and one of the main hubs of the competition will be the city of Milan. The head coach of AC Milan, Massimiliano Allegri, will attend the Olympics opening ceremony. The news was posted on the Rossoneri’s social media accounts. It is reported that Allegri will also appear as an honorary participant in the Olympic torch relay. Earlier, the Olympics press service said that well-known athletes would be among the torchbearers: former footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, cyclist Filippo Ganna, karateka Luigi Busa, and women’s footballer Alisha Lehmann.
At the moment, AC Milan under Allegri are in second place in the Serie A standings with 38 points.
