PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier spoke about internal competition in the squad with Russian shot-stopper Matvey Safonov after winning the French Super Cup. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Speaking to Footmercato, Chevalier said that after joining PSG he delivered his best performance. He noted that in some moments he could have done even better and is working on it. The goalkeeper added that he knows why he came to the club, will not give up, and aims to show his maximum in every match.
The match between PSG and Marseille ended 2–2. In the post-match penalty shootout, the Parisians won 4–1, and Chevalier saved two shots.
