Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk has responded to talk that he could end his career in the near future. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The Dutch footballer stressed that there is still no definite decision and said he has never made a statement about leaving. According to him, he does not plan that far ahead and still has the opportunity to play for several more years. For van Dijk, the most important thing is that he and his loved ones are happy.
For reference, van Dijk’s current contract with the Merseyside club runs until the summer of 2027.
In the current English Premier League season, the defender has made 21 appearances and received 3 yellow cards.
