Upamecano close to signing a long-term deal with Bayern

Bayern Munich are very close to extending their agreement with centre-back Dayot Upamecano. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to L’Equipe, the new deal could run until 2030 or 2031. The contract is said to set the player’s annual salary at €20 million and include a €20 million signing bonus. In addition, a €65 million release clause will be added to the agreement, taking effect from 2027.

Upamecano joined Bayern from RB Leipzig in 2021 for €42 million. His current contract runs until June 30, 2026. This season he has made 21 appearances for the Munich side and scored 1 goal.
