Hussein Al-Suleymani, a former footballer who played for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, made a harsh statement about 40-year-old Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Al-Suleymani stressed that he would rather see the player’s work on the pitch than his activity on social media. According to him, Ronaldo, as the team captain and leader, should work more and make a difference in games. “What happened in the past doesn’t matter — that’s history. What matters is how much he benefits the team now,” Kooora quotes Al-Suleymani as saying.
For the record, Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023. This season, he has played 13 matches and scored 14 goals.
