Newcastle extend Botman’s contract on his birthday

Newcastle announced on the club’s official website that they have extended the current agreement with defender Sven Botman. The announcement was made on the very day the player turned 32. The Dutchman’s new contract runs until mid-2030. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

Botman has been playing for Newcastle since the summer of 2022, when he joined from Lille. During that time, the defender has made 93 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.

Newcastle are currently in 6th place in the English Premier League standings.
