The Champions League’s official social media pages have announced the Team of the Week following the conclusion of Matchday 7 of the league phase. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .

The weekly lineup is as follows: Tsolakis (Olympiacos) — Porro (Tottenham), Gundersen (Bodø/Glimt), Van Dijk (Liverpool), Jafarguliyev (Qarabag), Thuram (Juventus), Navarro (Athletic), Fermin Lopez (Barcelona), Simeone (Atletico), Vinicius (Real), Suarez (Sporting Lisbon).

After Matchday 7, 15 teams in the Champions League have secured playoff berths. Arsenal and Bayern advanced directly to the Round of 16.

Matchday 8 of the league phase will be played on January 28.
