Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa shared his view on the possibility of extending forward Vinicius Junior’s contract. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
At a press conference, Arbeloa stressed that he would like the Brazilian to stay with the team for a long time, but noted that the final decision depends on an agreement between the player and the club.
Vinicius joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018 for €45 million. His current deal with Los Blancos runs until June 30, 2027. This season he has made 30 appearances for the Madrid club, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists.
As a reminder, Alvaro Arbeloa took over as Real Madrid head coach in January after Xabi Alonso left the club.
