According to Hidalgo, any party wishing to sign Alvarez must first contact Atletico. The agent said the player is tied to his current contract and is now fully focused on his duties with the team. He also denied reports of a meeting with Barcelona sporting director Deco, stating he has not seen him recently, Sport.es writes.
Sources say the Argentine forward’s transfer fee is valued at €100 million. Alvarez’s contract with Atletico runs until mid-2030.
