Monaco forward Folarin Balogun spoke about the team’s mood and objectives ahead of the Ligue 1 Round 19 match against Le Havre. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
The striker noted that the Monegasques respect today’s opponent, but away from home they intend to take the field only for a win and three points.
Balogun described Le Havre as a physically strong, combative team and said that overthinking after the match against Real would not help: “It will be a very tough game. We can keep thinking about the previous match — the game against Real — but that won’t help us,” he told the club’s press service.
Midweek, Monaco suffered a heavy 1–6 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
After 18 rounds, Monaco are 9th in the table with 23 points. The Le Havre vs Monaco match will take place on 24 January at the opponent’s ground and will kick off at 23:00 (Tashkent time).
