Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick attended a press conference ahead of the La Liga match against Real Oviedo and shared his thoughts on defender Pau Cubarsi. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Journalists asked Flick whether Cubarsi’s performance level had dropped and whether it was related to his age. The German coach noted that it is natural for a player who has just turned 19 to lack consistency in certain situations.
According to Flick, Cubarsi has huge potential and, for him personally, is one of the best centre-backs in Spain.
Barcelona are currently top of the La Liga table. On Sunday, 25 January, the Catalans will host Real Oviedo at home.
