In the UAE city of Fujairah, the WT taekwondo international tournament “Fujayrah Open - 2026” was held. Uzbekistan’s national team, taking part in the first international start of the season, collected a total of 14 medals — 2 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze.
This result, especially considering that the season is only just beginning, is a very confident signal: the team is getting into form, and the competition is already high. The Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee reported about the tournament.
