Josep Guardiola spoke openly about Palestine, Ukraine, and Russia

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has once again shown that he is not indifferent to socio-political issues outside the field. In one of his recent conversations, the expert addressed various conflicts in the world, describing these events as a "common affliction affecting everyone."
Guardiola emphasized that for the first time in human history, almost all major events are happening before our eyes - through live, prompt, and open data. In his opinion, this situation sometimes tires a person, and sometimes hurts the soul, but still should not leave anyone indifferent.
"Never in human history have we had such accurate data before our eyes. Including the genocide in Palestine, the events in Ukraine and Russia, the situation in Sudan - all of this is happening before our eyes. Whether we want to see it or not, it's a problem for everyone," the coach said.
According to him, such topics should not become "someone's problem": in the information age, no one can stand aside, because the shadow of war and violence will still reach everyone - mood, human psychology, and faith in the future.
As a reminder, since February 2022, the Russian Armed Forces have been conducting a "special military operation" in Ukraine. Guardiola's performance reminded fans of a familiar truth: sometimes even football cannot stay silent - because it too is in a world where people live.
