Guardiola: We won't give up to Arsenal in the championship fight!

While the English Premier League championship race is heating up again, Manchester City appears to be the only team capable of putting real pressure on league leaders Arsenal. As the season approaches its decisive moment, every point, every draw, and every small mistake can decide a big thing.
Against this backdrop, City manager Pep Guardiola openly stated that his team will never give up the fight for the championship. The Spanish specialist emphasized that there are many challenges ahead: a tight schedule, intertwined competitions, and a high risk of injuries. But this is not an excuse for surrender.
Guardiola said that after the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, he was asked, "Shouldn't we stop fighting in the EPL and focus on the cups?" He strongly refuted this idea:
- No. Why should we do this? Let's try to win the Premier League title," said the coach.
He didn't hide the fact that it was difficult to know for sure what would happen next. Guardiola believes that many more surprises and unexpected events are possible for the rest of the season. Even about his team, he expressed a realistic view: he felt that "it's impossible for us to win all the games."
Because "City" faces a difficult path ahead on several fronts: FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, League Cup final, international break, consecutive games, and naturally - injuries. Therefore, Guardiola simply explained the most correct path at the moment: rest, recovery, and maximum preparation for the next match.
- The most important thing for us is victory in the next match. Even if we don't succeed, we shouldn't stop fighting. One must never give up. If there are 10-11 games left in the Premier League - that's a huge distance, a lot can change," he said.
In short, Guardiola isn't promising "what will happen at the end of the road," but he's saying one thing for sure: City won't give up the championship race easily to anyone. Now the intrigue is this - how much can Arsenal withstand this pressure, and can City keep pace until the end despite the calendar's heavy blows?
