"Monaco" made a big "sensation" by defeating PSG in Paris...

In the central clash of the 25th round of French Ligue 1, top-ranked PSG lost 1-3 to Monaco at home. Notably, this was the Monegasque team's second victory of the season against the Parisians: Monaco had also won 1-0 in the first round. That is, this is not a coincidence - this means that PSG is not being "locked" against exactly one opponent.
The match took place at the Parc des Princes, and the visitors conducted the game quite strictly, disciplinedly, and accurately in attack. The score opened in the 27th minute: Aqliush's shot put Monaco ahead. PSG tried to equalize until halftime, but lacked decisive shots.
In the second half, the Monegasqueans didn't deviate from their "plan." In the 55th minute, Golovin was able to change the game as soon as he entered the field and brought the score to 0:2. PSG seemed to bring intrigue back into the game by scoring through Barcola in the 71st minute. However, this hope didn't last long: in the 73rd minute, Balogun scored the return goal, effectively "extinguishing" PSG's chances of returning - 1:3.
Following this result, PSG maintained their lead with 57 points. However, now the pressure from the pursuers is also noticeable: "Lance" has 53 points, and they have another reserve game. "Monaco," on the other hand, increased their points to 40 and climbed to 5th place - a very important step in the fight for European cups rather than the championship race.
