The matches of Group "A" of the III Division of the Ice Hockey World Championship held in Hong Kong ended with a historic result for Uzbek sports. The members of the Uzbekistan U18 national team did not suffer a single defeat during the tournament, clearly demonstrating their superiority over their opponents. Our boys showed high speed and iron discipline in every game, taking bold steps towards their goal.
In the decisive final match, our representatives took to the ice against the "Israel" national team. In a highly competitive match, our hockey players won 6:3 and climbed to the championship podium. Accuracy in the attacking line and composure in defense were the main factors that ensured the victory. In particular, the confident actions in the final minutes of the game delighted the fans.
This success is not limited to gold medals. Thanks to the victory, the Uzbekistan U18 national team earned the right to participate in Group "B" of the II Division of the World Championship next season. This means that our young hockey players will now compete against even stronger opponents. For Uzbek hockey, this is a big step that will serve as a solid foundation for conquering even higher peaks in the future.
