More than 10 players from "Pakhtakor" have been called up to different national team squads during the FIFA international window, according to the club’s press service. The call-ups cover the senior national team as well as Uzbekistan’s U-23 and U-20 selections.
Hojiakbar Alijonov, Muhammadrasul Abduhamidov, Muhammadqodir Hamraliyev, Sherzod Nasrullayev, Ibrohim Ibragimov, Doston Khamdamov and Akmal Mozgovoy were included in Uzbekistan’s senior squad for upcoming matches against Gabon and Venezuela in Tashkent. Meanwhile, Zaid Tahseen joined Iraq’s national team as it looks to secure a place in the final stage of World Cup qualification.
Several younger "Pakhtakor" players were also selected for age-group duty. Maksim Murkayev, Dilshod Abdullayev and Muhammadbobur Karimov were called into the Uzbekistan U-23 camp. Muhammadali Dilshodbekov, Quvonish Saydaliyev and Dilshod To‘laganov will take part in the U-20 national team gathering.
The large number of call-ups underlines "Pakhtakor"’s contribution to national team football and gives the club strong representation across multiple levels during the international break.
