Shomurodov also commented on the absence of Abbosbek Fayzullayev in the team. According to him, Fayzullayev's absence is certainly a significant loss, but the player is expected to return to the squad soon after a minor injury.
The striker also mentioned his inability to score in recent matches for the club. He emphasized that such situations occur in every player's career, and the most important thing is the team result.
Speaking about upcoming matches against Gabon and Venezuela, the captain noted that this training camp is the last opportunity before the World Cup. According to him, through these games, the team will test its capabilities, and new players will have the opportunity to prove themselves.
He also said that the FIFA Series international tournament is much more interesting than regular friendly matches. "Even if it's a small competition, it gives the games a different spirit. This is beneficial not only for the players, but also for the fans," Shomurodov added.
