"You will never become a footballer!" - Ronaldo's painful past.

Cristiano Ronaldo recalled the harsh words he heard in childhood and explained how he overcame everything through hard work.
According to him, at the age of 11, a school teacher deeply hurt him:
“My teacher told me, ‘You will never become a professional footballer.’ I will never forget those words. At that time, I was a skinny, small and poor boy. He looked me in the eyes and said, ‘Cristiano, you are very weak. You will achieve nothing,’” he recalls.
Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that he returned home in tears that day. However, that moment pushed him to make a strong decision:
“That day, deep in my heart, I decided — I will prove him wrong, I will show everyone that they are mistaken,” said the footballer.

According to him, this goal forced him to work tirelessly:
“While other kids were playing outside, I was training. Morning and night — no excuses, no rest, no holidays, no parties. Only hard work. I trained until my legs hurt, until I could hardly breathe,” he recalls.
In conclusion, he emphasized that every achievement is his answer to those words:
“Every run, every goal, every trophy I lifted — was my response to those words,” the football star concluded.
