Bayern leaves PSG without a hotel ahead of Champions League match
Ahead of the Champions League semi-final match between Bayern Munich and PSG, a hotel dispute arose, leaving the Parisian team without their preferred accommodation. Initially, PSG planned to stay at the four-star "Infinity" hotel, which is just a 15-minute drive from the stadium and a favorite for Bayern's home games. However, Bayern had already booked the hotel, prompting PSG to relocate to the "Andaz" design hotel instead. Upon arriving in Munich, PSG will head directly to their new five-star accommodation before holding a press conference and final training session at the stadium.
A disagreement over hotel accommodations has emerged ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg between Bayern Munich and PSG. The Parisians had initially planned to stay at the four-star Infinity Hotel on the outskirts of Munich. This was reported by Goal.com.
However, the German champions had already booked the hotel. The Infinity Hotel is located just 15 minutes from the stadium and is a preferred location for Bayern ahead of their home matches.
Head coach Vincent Kompany and sporting director Christoph Freund did not want to give up their usual spot. During a press conference, Kompany stated, "This is our city, we will stay at the Infinity Hotel."
PSG stayed at this same hotel when they defeated Inter in the Champions League final. Now, the French champions have been forced to stay at the Andaz design hotel.
Upon arriving in Munich on Tuesday, the Parisians will head directly to the new five-star hotel. Following that, they will hold a press conference and their final training session at the stadium.
