Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo could continue playing at the highest level at 45 and participate in the 2030 World Cup. His former teammate Eric Djemba-Djemba stated that the forward ending his career at the tournament held in his home country, alongside his son, would be the "perfect ending." Currently playing for Al-Nassr, the 41-year-old striker is silencing all doubts about his age, having scored 30 goals in 37 matches this season. His former Manchester United teammate Djemba-Djemba believes Ronaldo's mental preparation and work ethic will allow him to play until he is 45.
"I truly believe Cristiano Ronaldo can play until he is 44 or 45. What he does doesn't surprise me because I've known him since he was 17. He always wanted to do more even after training. He is mentally obsessed with improving himself," said the former midfielder.
