In Russia’s Novosibirsk region, innovative technologies are radically changing life — this time, artificial intelligence (AI) has made a major breakthrough in ensuring child safety, reports tass.ru. The new search system — Find Face Multi service, developed by NtechLab — has become not only effective, but also an important tool for society in finding missing children in the region.
The main operating mechanism of the system is to automatically compare and analyze images recorded by surveillance cameras with a photograph of the missing child. If a complete match is found, law enforcement agencies are immediately notified. The developers emphasize that the recognition accuracy exceeds 99 percent. As of today, this program has actually helped six families find their children.
According to Anton Loshakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of the region, the search system is activated only with the consent of the child’s parents. To do this, citizens must submit a special application through the 112 service and upload photographs of their child to the “Safe City” security system.
NtechLab CEO Alexey Palamarchuk noted that the Find Face Multi platform can be used not only autonomously, but also integrated with existing services. This provides a systematic and comprehensive approach to child safety in the regions.
Novosibirsk region became the first region in Russia to practically prove the effectiveness of this technology. According to experts, this experience may be extended to other regions of the country in the future and take child safety to a new level.
According to the latest news, the introduction of the Find Face Multi service has generated great interest and hope not only among law enforcement agencies, but also among the general public. Artificial intelligence solutions now demonstrate real efficiency in ensuring child safety.
This once again confirms that such cooperation between technology and people can solve the most important issues for the whole society.
