Boston Dynamics robot dog begins guarding construction objects

Boston Dynamics and Asylon have jointly introduced a robotic security guard named DroneDog. This device is based on the famous four-legged Spot robot and is equipped with a specialized PupPack security system. Ixbt.com reports on this.
The new device is capable of patrolling areas day and night, detecting violations, and monitoring facilities without human intervention. When the robot's power is low, it independently returns to the DogHouse charging station.
This module protects the robot from unfavorable weather conditions and restores its energy.
To date, DroneDog has successfully completed more than 250,000 automatic missions in real-world conditions and covered a distance of over 240,000 kilometers. It is equipped with a thermal imager featuring 20x zoom, artificial intelligence algorithms, and an encrypted communication system.
The robot is capable of navigating complex terrain, climbing stairs, and operating in the dark. Operators can connect to the device remotely to monitor the situation.
The starting price for the DroneDog robot has been set at 74.5 thousand dollars.
