Ahead of the May 9th holiday, the Yandex team introduced a new project that allows users to find information about their ancestors' participation in World War II. Now, through the "Explore" AI agent in the Alisa AI chat, you can quickly gather information about your relatives' activities during the war years. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The user only needs to enter their relative's first name, last name, patronymic, and years of life. The AI agent analyzes open archive sources such as "Memorial," "Pamyat Naroda," and "Podvig Naroda," and cross-references the documents.
Based on the results, the system generates a biographical summary. It includes information about the date of conscription, place of service, ranks, and awards. The finished document can be downloaded in docx or pdf format, copied, or shared with loved ones.
Yandex specialists note that while searching for such information in archives independently used to be time-consuming, the neural network reduces this process to just a few minutes.
