Power of 33 Raptor engines: SpaceX releases video of new generation Starship

SpaceX continues to share stunning footage from the twelfth test flight (Flight 12) of the Starship system. This time, developers showcased the launch of Starship V3, a completely redesigned rocket generation with significant improvements to the ship and Super Heavy booster. The flight took place from the new Pad 2 site at Starbase, Texas. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The released video clearly shows the massive fire plumes from the 33 Raptor 3 engines in the first stage, bright pink exhaust trails, atmospheric shock waves, and the ascent of the 120-meter rocket. Starship V3 is not just another version, but a major leap in development. The new model features more powerful Raptor 3 engines, redesigned fuel tanks, and improved thermal protection.
Despite unexpected engine shutdowns, the flight was deemed successful. The rocket reached its target trajectory, performed a hot-staging separation, and completed primary tasks, including the deployment of test Starlink satellites. Elon Musk emphasized that a higher thrust-to-weight ratio is economically critical for future rockets.
It is reported that SpaceX set a record during this 12th flight: the rocket carried approximately 45 tons of Starlink satellite simulators into orbit. Additionally, two modified Starlink devices specially adapted for video recording were successfully tested. The FAA is currently considering an investigation into post-flight incidents.
