Honor 600 Super Edition Launched: 8600 mAh Battery and IP69K Protection

Today in China, alongside the Honor 600 Pro, the Honor 600 Super Edition smartphone was officially unveiled. Despite its name, this device is a slightly simplified version of the Pro model: it lacks wireless charging and the 50-megapixel optical zoom module. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

The Honor 600 Super Edition is offered in two memory configurations: the 12/256 GB version is priced at $485, while the 12/512 GB variant is set at $545. Including subsidies, the starting price can drop to $410. The device is equipped with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with 2728 x 1264 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 3840 Hz PWM dimming.

The main advantage of the smartphone is its battery capacity — it features an 8600 mAh battery instead of the 8000 mAh one in the Pro version. However, the 50W wireless charging technology has been omitted, supporting only 80W wired charging. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Regarding the camera, the Honor 600 Super Edition comes with a 200 MP and 12 MP main camera setup and a 50-megapixel front camera. Additionally, the smartphone is protected against water and dust according to the IP69K standard and features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an IR blaster. The device is 7.95 mm thick and weighs 201 grams.
