One of the world's largest structures: New photos of the Gigabay factory

New photos from the "Battle of the Bays" series by Julia Bergeron allow for a comparison of the two massive Gigabay factories being built for Starship vessels. Construction is proceeding rapidly at both the Starbase spaceport in Texas and the Roberts Road site in Florida. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
At the Starbase site, four cranes are operating simultaneously, accelerating the assembly of the giant structure's dark-colored walls. At the Gigabay facility in Florida, although the number of main cranes has been reduced to two, additional equipment is being actively used for upper-section assembly and cladding. Both structures are gradually taking on their final appearance.
The technical specifications of the Gigabay factory are impressive: the building is 116 meters high, 110 meters long, and 130 meters wide. The internal usable height reaches up to 115 meters, with a total working area of nearly 75,700 square meters. These parameters allow for housing multiple Starship vessels simultaneously.
Speaking about this project, Elon Musk emphasized that Gigabay would be one of the largest structures in the world. According to him, the factory is designed to produce one thousand Starship vessels per year. Full completion of construction is scheduled for 2026.
For reference, during 2025, SpaceX conducted 5 test flights of the Starship system (Super Heavy booster and Starship vessel). So far, no official data has been released on exactly how many rockets were assembled in the Starfactory hangars over the past year.
