Competition between leading flagships in the smartphone market always sparks great interest among users and tech enthusiasts. According to ixbt.com, the creators of the popular PhoneBuff channel conducted another interesting comparison test, putting the real-world speed of the newest Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to the test. To ensure impartiality, the testing process was carried out using a specialized robotic arm. This is reported by Ixbt.com. reports .

Although the Korean giant's flagship shows significant superiority in paper specifications and benchmark tests, this does not always directly affect the performance of everyday applications. However, according to the results of the actual tests, the Samsung flagship demonstrated that it is indeed faster. This advantage was particularly noticeable in certain scenarios, specifically in complex tasks such as video processing or extracting archives.

Test results and key details

In the first round of testing, the Samsung device completed all tasks in 3 minutes and 27 seconds, while the new device presented by Google required 4 minutes and 10 seconds for the same process. Interestingly, the Samsung flagship covered the entire test distance at a speed nearly matching its rival's first-round time, demonstrating the high level of the Korean smartphone's overall optimization.

According to experts' observations, one of the main problems for Google arose during the data archiving process. For unknown reasons, the Pixel 11 Pro Max slowed down while performing this task. At the same time, it was noted that the device faced some difficulties during the second round, specifically in the stage of clearing and reloading games from memory.

Nevertheless, both flagships showed almost identical results in terms of launch speed for standard applications. Most everyday programs and services opened at the same speed on both smartphones, providing equal convenience to the user. This once again confirms that modern processors are competitive with each other when performing basic tasks.
