Shawkat Mirziyoyev instructed officials to transfer a number of public services to the private sector by October. He spoke about this on Friday at a videoconference meeting on the development of service sectors.

Over the past three years, 27 types of public services have been transferred to the private sector. However, it was noted that there is still a lot of work to be done in the ministries in this direction.

For example, it was noted that the Davaktiv agency could transfer the examination and classification of realtors and appraisers, the Tourism Committee could transfer the service of issuing qualification certificates to guides, and the Agro-Industrial Inspection could transfer the mandatory inspection of agricultural and special equipment to the private sector. There are also many services in other ministries and departments that entrepreneurs can easily perform.

In this regard, officials were instructed to take measures to transfer 11 public services to the private sector by March 1, and another 18 by October 1.

Each ministry was instructed to prepare a proposal on which services in its system can be transferred to the private sector, including outsourcing, and on the possibility of introducing new services. The Competition Committee was assigned responsibility in this regard.

Since entrepreneurs have many questions about the terms of leasing or privatization of land plots and state property, the task was set to develop and publish open, transparent, and beneficial conditions in this regard.
