
In Uzbekistan, the processes of selling, leasing, bequeathing, and mortgaging property will be simplified. This was announced at a presentation on plans for the cadastral system with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the press service of the head of state reported.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation on the work done on land accounting and the development of the cadastral service, as well as future tasks.
A single database in the country, the UZKAD system, has been launched, where the authenticity and reliability of real estate is guaranteed by the state. To date, information on 150 thousand residential and 707 thousand non-residential premises, as well as 44 thousand multi-storey buildings, has been reflected in this new system.
It is reported that this year 400 thousand individual houses will be included in the UZKAD system.
“As a result, the processes of selling, renting, bequeathing, and mortgaging property will be simplified. In the future, more than 6.3 million individual houses will be reflected in this system,” the report said.
Also, in accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated March 5, a system of mass valuation of real estate is being introduced. For this purpose, the National Center for Mass Valuation of Real Estate was opened at the Cadastre Agency. 40 billion soums were allocated for it, qualified specialists were attracted, and practical work began.
“The mass valuation will begin this year in Tashkent, and in the coming years it will be gradually implemented in the city of Nukus and regional centers, as well as in other regions,” the report noted.
The task was set to dramatically reduce bureaucracy in the sector, improve the quality of cadastral services, and create convenience for entrepreneurs.
For information, Uzbekistan has about 45 million hectares of land. As a result of the introduction of digitization, 42 million hectares of land, that is, 94% of the total area, were registered with the state. Information on 13 types of state cadastre, such as transport, communication, geodesy, energy, road, was formed 100 percent. Work on 7 other directions is in the final stage.
