On June 8, a tragic incident occurred in the Toyloq district of Samarkand region — two citizens died as a result of electric shock. This was reported to Kun.uz by the press service of "Regional Electric Networks" JSC.

According to the report, the incident happened in the “Bog‘izag‘on” neighborhood of Toyloq district. Two employees of a private company engaged in installing surveillance cameras at a local store met with a fatal accident while on duty.

During the work process, one of the workers, acting carelessly, touched the overhead power line of the "Anzur" feeder with a metal ladder. As a result, a powerful electric discharge occurred, which led to the death of both workers.

Currently, a preliminary investigation is being carried out by the relevant authorities. Officials are working to determine the causes of the tragedy, identify those responsible, and take preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

It should be noted that such cases pose a serious threat to human life. Experts emphasize the importance of strictly following safety rules when working with technical equipment.
