Mirziyoyev visits Qashqadarya: major changes expected in four directions

Today, on June 19, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is making a working visit to the Qashqadarya region. The purpose of this trip by the head of state is to personally familiarize himself with the progress of reforms, construction works, and new projects being implemented in the region.

As part of the visit, the President plans to review the activities of key enterprises in the fields of industry, healthcare, tourism, and energy, as well as to inspect infrastructural changes in local communities (mahallas). In addition, a meeting is planned with the participation of the head of state, dedicated to discussing priority tasks for the socio-economic development of the Qashqadarya region.

It is expected that issues of importance to the local population — such as job creation, enhancement of tourism potential, improvement of medical service quality, and expansion of production sectors — will be among the main focuses of the President.
