President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the projects being implemented in the industrial area of the Chilanzar district of our capital.
This area, located in the Beshqorgon and Tirsakobod neighborhoods, covers 320 hectares. This complex, which has the status of a small industrial zone, was established by the President’s decision dated July 3, 2023. According to the decision, the improvement of transport, engineering-communication, and road infrastructure has laid the foundation for the development of industry and entrepreneurship.
Here, energy-efficient and environmentally safe production facilities meeting international standards have been established. Currently, the number of such enterprises has reached 531. The number of jobs created has approached 20,000. The annual production capacity is also substantial — 6.8 trillion soums. This year, 50 enterprises in the area will export products worth $180 million. Such figures were never seen before in Chilanzar.
The head of state visited the “Tarleplast” enterprise in this area and observed the production process.

The total cost of this project is $25 million. Twelve types of modern equipment from leading European companies have been installed. As a result, the plant can now produce 90,000 tons of iron pipes and steel profiles annually. In monetary terms, this equates to 900 billion soums. The enterprise has provided permanent employment to about 120 people.
Importantly, the pipes are resistant to high pressure and external influences and are competitive in type, size, and price. This is confirmed by last year’s export of $4 million worth of products to countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Now, the geography of sales is planned to be expanded further.
The President also viewed an exhibition of products produced in this industrial area. Presentations of industrial projects for the near future were made.
In particular, it is planned to create a multi-story production building and a mono center. As a result, 100 more new projects will be implemented, and 3,000 additional jobs will be created. These projects cover areas such as construction, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, printing, automotive, textile, and confectionery industries.
Our President held talks with entrepreneurs. He gave instructions on producing value-added products, increasing jobs, and developing service sectors. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
