
As Uzbekistan enters the hottest period of the summer season, from July 11 to 13, air temperatures are expected to remain stable, while in some areas they may increase further, reported uzgidromet. According to experts, the weather will be partly cloudy and variable across the country, but for the most part, no precipitation is expected.
Only in the mountainous regions of the Fergana Valley, on the evening of July 11, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some places. In the rest of the republic, dry and sunny weather will dominate.
No significant changes in temperature are expected—especially during the day. In most parts of the country, thermometers will read +32...+35 degrees, while in the south, the temperature may rise to +36...+39 degrees. The coolest weather will be in the Fergana Valley, with temperatures around +28...+31 degrees.
During the weekend, temperatures will increase slightly. In many regions, daytime temperatures will reach +35...+38 degrees, which will definitely make you feel the classic summer heat. At night, temperatures will drop slightly, to around +18...+23 degrees.
On these days, in some parts of the country, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 meters per second, and dust storms are possible. This is a natural phenomenon, especially during the hot and dry season.
In the capital, Tashkent, the weekend will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation. The wind will be from the east at 3–8 meters per second, nighttime temperatures +20...+23 degrees, and during the day +33...+35 degrees on July 11 and +35...+38 degrees on July 12–13.
