Over 1 Million Tourists Visit Uzbekistan Each Month

In the first half of 2025, there has been a significant increase in the number of foreign visitors to Uzbekistan. According to the Tourism Committee, the monthly tourist flow into the country now exceeds 1 million. This was reported by Kursiv.media.

Compared to 2024, the number of tourists has grown by nearly 20 percent. This indicates not only the growing interest in Uzbekistan but also the practical effectiveness of the ongoing reforms in the tourism sector.

In April, Uzbekistan welcomed over 1 million foreign guests for the first time in its history. In May, the figure rose further, reaching 1.1 million. The upward trend continued in June as well, with approximately another 1.1 million tourists visiting the country.

This dynamic is directly linked to the development of the tourism infrastructure, improvements in service quality, enhanced security measures, and the promotion of cultural heritage sites.
