Customs: 1247 kg of drugs seized

According to the results of the first half of 2025, more than 34 trillion soums were transferred to the state budget through customs payments. This is an important indicator for the economy and reflects the effectiveness of customs authorities.

During this period, more than 19 thousand cases of smuggling and customs violations were identified. These offenses involved the illegal transportation of goods and material assets worth 564 billion soums across the border and their hidden circulation within the country being stopped.

The volume of foreign currency removed from illegal circulation increased threefold compared to the same period last year, and the number of smuggled jewelry items nearly doubled.

In addition, 1247 kilograms of narcotic substances and 156 kilograms of psychotropic and potent drugs were prevented from being imported under customs control.
