The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, congratulated the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on his birthday and invited him to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The text of the congratulatory telegram was published by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
The SCO summit in Tianjin will begin on August 31. Also, in the first days of September, China will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan. Xi Jinping invited the President of Uzbekistan to participate in the celebratory events.
Xi Jinping wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev health and prosperity. He emphasized that he pays special attention to strengthening China-Uzbekistan cooperation and spoke about the fruitful working relationships between the leadership of the two countries and his personal friendship with the President of Uzbekistan.
