Uzbekistan has officially joined the international agreement on the establishment of the Interstate Council for Combating Corruption. This agreement, signed in Minsk in 2013, envisions effective cooperation between states, experience exchange, and the adoption of coordinated measures.
According to the Presidential Decree dated July 30, 2025, this agreement ensures our country’s active participation in global anti-corruption efforts. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been designated as the authorized body for the implementation of the treaty and will submit the relevant information to the depository.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers and other responsible agencies have been tasked with ensuring the implementation of the agreement. Once fully in force, the agreement will allow Uzbekistan to harmonize its legislation and take part in practical initiatives and international projects.
This step signifies Uzbekistan's strengthened anti-corruption partnership on a global scale.
