In the Urta Chirchik district of Tashkent region, a large training exercise was held with the purpose of increasing the level of preparedness for emergency situations. This exercise was aimed at ensuring flight search and rescue operations, as well as testing cooperation between various agencies in the event of an air crash. The event was conducted at the paratrooper training center of the Ministry of Defense, where the consequences of a conditional air crash were eliminated.
According to the information, during the approach for landing, the passenger plane loses communication with the air traffic controller, and the liner with passengers on board crashes before reaching the city of Tashkent. As a result, a strong fire breaks out, and conditionally there are victims and injured people of varying degrees.
To eliminate this situation, a pre-prepared plan was activated. About 250 highly qualified specialists, as well as more than 20 units of special equipment from interdepartmental structures, participated in the exercises. With their help, work was carried out to search for the incident site, extinguish the fire, and ensure safety.
Rescuers, within their groups, carried out various tasks: bringing the fire under control, evacuating people to a safe area, determining the severity of the victims’ injuries, providing them with first medical aid, and quickly delivering them to hospitals. In addition, practical actions were taken to evacuate hazardous cargo from the aircraft.
