From September 10 hot water and heating services will become more expensive

In the Tashkent region, an increase in the prices of heating supply services for the population and organizations has been determined. According to the new decision of the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies, starting from September 10 the tariffs for hot water and heating services provided by heating enterprises will be revised. This was stated in the official document.

According to the decision, the prices of services provided to consumers by “Issiqlik ta’minoti” LLC, “Angren city heating supply” LLC, “Chirchik city heating supply” LLC and “Olmalyk city heating supply” LLC will be changed.

According to the new calculations, the enterprise “Issiqlik ta’minoti” proposed for the population the price of 102,810.4 UZS/Gcal (including VAT) for hot water and heating services. Currently this service costs about 93,464 UZS. This means that from September the tariff for the population is expected to increase by almost 10 thousand UZS.

For legal entities, changes are also envisaged. Enterprises and organizations will have to pay not 560 thousand UZS per Gcal as now, but 700 thousand UZS. That is, for business entities the cost of services will also significantly increase.

Officials emphasize that the main goal of raising tariffs is to ensure the stable operation of heating supply systems, to update the existing infrastructure and to improve the quality of services. At the same time, it is noted that this decision will naturally have a certain impact on the daily expenses of the population.

Thus, starting from September 10, the residents and enterprises of the region will be required to pay for hot water and heating services at the new, higher tariffs.
