As part of the state visit of the King of Jordan to Uzbekistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the highest honor of Jordan — the “An-Nahda” (“Renaissance”) Order.

This prestigious award was personally presented to the President of our country by King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of Jordan.

— I accept this award with great pleasure as a proper recognition of our joint efforts to expand multifaceted cooperation, as well as as a symbol of friendly relations and respect for the people of Uzbekistan, who are creating the foundation for the Third Renaissance in our country, — said President Mirziyoyev.

As a result of the historic visit of the King of Jordan to Uzbekistan and productive negotiations, the relations between the two countries have been elevated to a new level of partnership.

The leaders agreed to develop cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The President of Uzbekistan noted that King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein has made a significant contribution to the rapid development of Jordan, the implementation of its peaceful foreign policy, and the enhancement of its influence and prestige in the international community.

Our President emphasized that this high award would serve as a worthy symbol of the strong friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Jordan.

In conclusion, Shavkat Mirziyoyev once again thanked King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein for the award and wished the people of Jordan peace, prosperity, and well-being.
