In order to support the population during the heating season of 2025/2026, the state plans to provide special one-time material assistance to families in need. In November of this year, the amount of this assistance is 1,000,000 soums and is aimed at reducing the heating costs of families in difficult situations. This was officially reported by the Information Service of the National Agency for Social Protection.
Support is available to the following categories of individuals and families:
- Families receiving child benefits or material assistance through the "Unified Register of Social Protection";
- Families in the "Register of Poor Families";
- Families included in the additional list prepared by the "Mahalla Seven."
The priority categories of families included in the supplementary list are:
- family members who have lost their breadwinner;
- families with persons with disabilities of group I or II;
- families raising a child with a disability;
- residents of multi-story buildings without heating systems;
- 3 or more families living in one household;
- families caring for a seriously ill patient;
- lonely elderly or disabled citizens.
If you belong to one of these categories, you should contact the "Mahalla Seven" by September 25 of this year. Through these measures, the state aims to reduce heating costs for low-income families and make their lives easier.
