13 uzbekistanis held in slavery in Ukraine have been released

A group engaged in the illegal exploitation of people in the Kyiv region has been exposed. According to the Ukrainian prosecutor's office, two Chinese citizens, one Uzbek citizen, and one Ukrainian woman, were among the criminals. They have been detained, and the issue of a precautionary measure is currently under consideration.

According to the investigation, the suspects lured homeless and financially disadvantaged individuals into slavery through deception and coercion.

The report states that people were kept under strict control, forced to work, and their freedom of movement was restricted. Excessive discrimination was observed against them: even going to the bathroom was allowed at the appointed time, and fines were imposed for minor violations.

Law enforcement agencies identified the locations and economic facilities where the criminals lived. 13 citizens of Uzbekistan, held in inhuman conditions, were found there.
