Some streets in Tashkent have been temporarily closed due to road repairs

Starting today, October 8, traffic will be temporarily restricted in several districts of the capital. This was officially announced by the Tashkent City Road Safety Department.

According to the information, road repair work has begun on a number of main streets passing through the territory of Mirzo Ulugbek and Yashnabad districts. In particular, on the section of New Uzbekistan Street from the Akhangaran highway to the D012 highway, as well as on Jasorat and Dustlik streets, new PSHMA-20 type asphalt concrete pavement is being laid on the upper layer of the highway.

In this regard, the movement of vehicles in these areas has been temporarily suspended from October 8 to October 20. The Road Safety Department urged citizens to plan their routes in advance and use detours in emergency situations.

According to experts, road repair work will be completed within the established timeframe, and the updated road surface will become more convenient and safe for traffic.

Due to the use of necessary equipment and construction tools during road repairs, traffic jams may occur in certain sections. Therefore, drivers were asked to exercise caution and patience.
