Saida Mirziyoyeva: Uzbekistan is an attractive place for British business

The Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, took part in a round table discussion on the topic "New Uzbekistan - a large country with great opportunities" during her official visit to the United Kingdom. The meeting took place in London and was attended by representatives of major British business and financial circles.

In her speech, Mirziyoyeva spoke about the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, the favorable environment created for investors, and the country's economic potential. As he noted, in recent years our country has become an attractive business platform not only at the regional, but also at the international level.

- Uzbekistan has also become an attractive destination for British business. Today, more than 270 British companies operate in our country, and their number is growing every year. "This is a vivid indicator of confidence in the economy of Uzbekistan," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.

According to him, the growing interest of British partners in the Uzbek market is yielding beneficial results for both countries. Mirziyoyeva emphasized the importance of further expanding economic ties between the two countries and implementing new projects.

- We value open dialogue with the British business community. Their ever-expanding presence in our economy gives us confidence in the future," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Within the framework of the visit, Saida Mirziyoyeva also held meetings with the President of the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Odil Reno-Basso and Baroness Ariel Mallard de Rothschild. During the talks, issues of cooperation in the fields of finance, investment, and private sector development were discussed.

Baroness Rothschild and the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) President highly appreciated the reforms in Uzbekistan, especially the economic openness and conditions created for investors. They noted that the stability and pace of development in the country are of great interest to British business.

Thus, Saida Mirziyoyeva's visit to London further strengthened Uzbekistan's active position in the international economic arena. The "round table" and meetings once again demonstrated that the idea of "New Uzbekistan" is an important step not only on the path of internal reforms, but also on the path of reliable cooperation with the global business community.
